Riding high on the triple-platinum success of "Drowning" in 2017, he continued to dominate with top-ten hits like "The Bigger Artist" and the chart-topping "Hoodie SZN" in 2018.
Drawing inspiration from Kanye West and 50 Cent, Boogie immersed himself in the rap game during his teenage years, collaborating with heavyweights like Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Kodak Black, and Robin Thicke. His commercial hot streak persisted with projects like 2020's "Artist 2.0" and the 2022 album "Me vs. Myself." Sharing with Billboard about the album, A BOOGIE WIT Da Hoodie said: "At the start of this album, I intentionally put myself through stuff to create the music, and I wasn't a fan of that side of myself."
