Chris Stapleton, the 39-year old Kentucky-hailing bluegrass expert, is nothing less than one of Nahville’s most treasured songwriters. Co-writing hits with artists including Cheryl Crow, Vince Gill, and Peter Frampton and writing songs appearing on albums by artists as diverse as Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentey to Adele!! As a solo artist, Stapleton exploded onto the country music scene with his debut solo album “Traveller,” in 2015. It shot up to number one on the Billboard 200, sold over 1.7 million copies in the US alone, and won award after award, including more trophies than any other artist at the 2015 CMA awards – a particularly memorable event with his incredible country-soul duets alongside pop star Justin Timberlake!! The album also won Stapleton three Country Music Association Awards, (for Album of the Year, Best Male Vocalist, and New Artist Of The Year). He went on to be nominated for 4 Grammy Awards in 2016, including Album of the Year, and winning two; Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album.
