Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Harley Streten aka Flume first started following his love for creating music back in his high school years as he started to work on his skills of making remixes and his own original tracks. As he quickly realised that he was destined for a career in music, Flume continued on his journey for the next few years and got his break with his self titled debut album in 2012. The record reached double-platinum status in Australia and was featured across the scene for his future bass soundscape which he is now considered to be the pioneer of the unique genre. This transformation on the electronic music scene has been unforgettable and so many artists and DJ's ever since have produced future bass music.
Flume has grabbed the spotlight ever since with his second album Skin in 2016 and winning the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic album. The off the scale reviews and hype surrounding his music has truly taken his career to the next level and has gained Flume a wide spread fan following where-ever he performs to.
As well as his original music, Flume has given us countless of mind blowing remixes for other artists such as Sam Smith, Lorde, Disclosure, Arcade Fire and many more. Most recently he has returned with his latest mixtape, Hi This Is Flume which he dropped in 2019 and grabbed a spot on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart – reaching number 8 and hitting number 185 on the Billboard 200.
