Heart is the nostalgic but not your usual rock band from the 80s. They've earned international recognition for being one of the longest-lasting rock bands. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 for their outstanding contribution to music, which is characterized by their unique mix of hard rock and folk over the decade. Most beloved for their distinctive and powerful sound, they are the first of many hard rock bands to be fronted by a female-dominated lead. The Wilson sisters have truly made a run for their money for being considered as the female alternate of Led Zeppelin. Drawing from progressive rock, hard rock, and folk, the band's 1976 debut has since made them known as a hard-hitting viral song-maker machine. Over the years, Heart became an epitome of unique musicianship — a raging inferno of talent and skill, fronted by some of the most legendary female rock and roll musicians of all time.
The band will embark on a North American and European tour this year, which will bring them to many cities all over the country, including Morrison, Colorado, on September 22 at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Dubbed the "Royal Flush Tour 2024," the tour features the current line up of Nancy Wilson (rhythm, lead and acoustic guitar, backing and lead vocals), Ann Wilson (lead vocals and flute), Ryan Wariner (lead and rhythm guitar), Ryan Waters (guitars), Paul Moak (guitars, keyboards and backing vocals), Tony Lucido (bass and backing vocals) and Sean T Lane (drums and bike).
"I am incredibly proud of the show that our band has crafted and am looking forward to reconnecting with our fans. We can't wait to share our music with everyone and celebrate the big electric energy of a completely live on the spot rock show," said Nancy Wilson in an interview.
If you are one of Heart's long-time fans, you should see them this September 22 at the Red Rocks Amphitheater for a concert that will cap off your summer with a bang! Get your tickets now.
