Diehard ILLENIUM fans – we remember what a combination ILLENIUM + Red Rocks Amphitheather is. Especially when we are talking about a three-day spectacle including throwbacks to iconic times and a look into the future. ILLENIUM will be returning to Red Rocks this fall from October 7th to 9th. And after getting a feel for what Fallen Embers has in store for us, such as "Sideways," a collaboration with Nurko and Valerie Broussard, “Nightlight” with Annika Wells, “Hearts on Fire” with Dabin and Lights, "Paper Thin" with Tom DeLonge and Angels & Airwaves, and “First Time” with iann dior, we are ready for THE SHOW of 2021.
Red Rocks Amphitheater has been the favorite venue of countless artists of any genre. ILLENIUM regards his Red Rocks Amphitheatre headlining sets as some of his most "crazy shows" to date.
But why? This venue is a favorite among many performers because of its near-perfect acoustic surroundings. It is one-of-a-kind and its excellent acoustics are a result of the two giant monoliths that surround the seating area. Dubbed the Ship Rock and the Creation Rock, the sandstone structures are taller than Niagara Falls.
Whether it’s a 25-piece brass band filling the air with dense soundscapes, a solo singer wistfully sending their voice flying through the funnel-like venue, or EDM beats soaring through the air, Creation Rock and Ship Rock have honed a sound so pure and crystal that seeing a concert here is a singular experience.
