Let songful psychedelia envelop your entire being and experience an awakening unlike anything you’ll ever know. Houston-based band Khruangbin has announced a 2024 North American tour in support of their upcoming album, A la Sala, targeting at least 25 cities during their seasons-spanning journey. Following a string of festival appearances, including Coachella and Bonnaroo, the group will be holding a two-nighter in Morrison, Colorado, at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, set to premiere on the 27th of August.

Inspired by Thai rock, funk, and R&B, among other things, the jet-setting trio of Laura Lee, Mark Speer, and DJ Johnson will have you soul-deep in mesmerization as they play some of their most evocative work in this greatly anticipated concert event! Feast your ears in the music that made albums like The Universe Smiles Upon You and Mordechai a reality. Spacey, smooth, but instrumentally intricate, Khruangbin’s hit singles, such as “Time (You and I),” “White Gloves,” and fan-favorite “Texas Moon,” will transport you into a blissful trance, backdropping the main course of their forthcoming LP.

A la Sala — Spanish for “To the Room” — is set to release on April 5th, Khruangbin’s first foray without their usual collaborators. The 12-track album will be a “first glimpse of the bountiful vistas powering the band’s vision,” laying bare the truest form of our headliners’ sound, from roots to canopy to crown.

“The building blocks then for A LA SALA's 12 songs were jigsaw pieces found in Khruangbin's creative past, parts of the band not lost, but not yet tapped into. Having stockpiled ideas originally set down as off-the-cuff recordings they began fitting those pieces together.”

The concert will be supported by the Peter Cat Recording Co. — a Delhi-based quintet who’ll be treating you to a cabaret-style exhibition of gypsy jazz and ballroom waltz melodies best exemplified by their Bismillah LP’s “Memory Box” and “Floated By” singles.

The Red Rocks Amphitheater has steadily risen to the ranks of America's foremost destinations for live music. And it’s not done yet.
