Trying out for American Idol in 2010 and 2012, taking her shot at the music scene, it didn't really quite work out, failing to move past Hollywood rounds in the show. Though she later found a mission that goes beyond Hollywood, but across the globe, winning hearts for eternal victory through praise and worship.
She made her Christian music debut recording "Close" and "You Alone" for North Point InsideOut's album "Hear". She also made other appearances in the Christian scene which allowed her to gain an audience in her pursuit of making Him known through music.
Lauren Daigle dropped her full-length debut album "How Can It Be" in 2015. The album made a debut at #1 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart. With her hit singles "How Can It Be" and "First", she became highly acclaimed as a Christian break-out artist. Her debut single was named as one of iTunes' Top Christian songs of 2014. The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2016.
Having made great waves in the global Christian music scene, Lauren Daigle continues the mission with the release of her second record "Look Up Child", bagging a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2019. The album features her biggest hit single "You Say", spending sixty weeks at #1 on the Hot Christian Songs chart, surpassing Carrie Underwood's "Something in the Water" for the longest stay by any solo artist on the chart. "You Say" also won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.
With two RIAA certified-platinum albums on her list, the world can agree that Lauren Daigle's music has touched the hearts of believers across the globe. Many have shed tears and found greater strength through Daigle's praise hits ""Rescue", "Trust in You", "First", "How Can It Be", "Look Up Child", "Hold On to Me", and "You Say".
Lauren Daigle shares in a press release:
"Honestly, as an artist, I think every day that you wake up and hear that your songs have had an impact on someone, or your songs have changed someone’s life for the better, there’s genuinely nothing that can top that."
As she leads the crowd in back-to-back nights of worship at Red Rocks, the altar is calling believers to gather as one and lift their praises up, finding strength in their faith.
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20
