Get lost in trance because MELLODEATH is coming. SVDDEN DEATH, one of modern-day bass music's most forward-thinking producers, and the prolific Marshmello are set to kick off a new collaboration tour. The two electronic music titans will collaborate as MELLODEATH for a new eponymous concert series.
Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH revealed the tour dates on social media. They announced gigs in Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, and Colorado's iconic Red Rocks during their four-stop April journey.
Fans may recall that the duo made their debut as MELLODEATH in the spring of 2023. The two performed an epic set together at EDC Las Vegas. While the performance surprised many, Marshmello has previously collaborated with artists on the hard end of the bass spectrum. Earlier this month, he announced collaborations with HOL! and Space Laces.
Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH's "MELLODEATH 2024" tour will begin on April 4, 2024 - right here at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Yep, people of Morrison, Colorado better start getting ready!
About Marshmello:
Marshmello burst onto the scene in early 2015. His debut studio album, "Joytime," dropped in January 2016, featuring his commercial debut single, "Keep It Mello." Then came "Alone," a platinum-certified hit released in May of that same year. Climbing to number 60 on the US Billboard Hot 100, it marked his first platinum single in both the US and Canada, with over a million certified units sold.
In 2017, Marshmello released hit singles like "Chasing Colors," "Twinbow," and "Moving On." But it was his collaboration with R&B sensation Khalid on the track "Silence" that really made him viral, earning platinum and multi-platinum certifications in eight countries. Later that year, his collaboration with pop star Selena Gomez on "Wolves" brought in similar levels of success.
About SVDDEN DEATH:
SVDDEN DEATH is a LA based DJ and producer hailing from San Jose, California. You might recognize him for his smash hit "Sell Out," a collab with the multi-platinum artist Marshmello, which soared to No. 36 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart in early 2019.
Svdden Death, aka Howland, is all about that high-octane energy, delivering heart-pounding beats in the realms of dubstep and riddim.
