Kicking things off with a self-titled debut in 2018, Mt. Joy caught everyone’s attention. Slowly but surely, they've become this band that reminds people guitars are still a thing. The indie rockers sure know how to give sound! Then, in 2022, Orange Blood dropped, and it was like fireworks. Singles like “Lemon Tree”, “Bathroom Light”, and “Evergreen” had people hooked, amassing a larger fan base for the quintet. Matt Quinn and the crew shifted from being the opening act for the Lumineers and Greta Van Fleet to owning the stage with their headline shows. Talk about a glow-up!
Each year, the Philadelphia quintet-Mt. Joy just keeps drawing more attention to themselves. Matt Quinn (vocals, guitar), Sam Cooper (guitar), Sotiris Eliopoulos (drums), Jackie Miclau (keys, piano), and Michael Byrnes (bass) are diving into 2024 at a festival in Cancun. After soaking up the sun by the seaside, the band is gearing up to kick off the tour by opening for Noah Kahan at Fenway Park and for Zach Bryan at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. It’s all part of their grand tour plan, and sandwiched between these gigs, they're taking on the arena vibes at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.
Not only that, they’ve also announced their own headlining tour across the nation! And guess what? The tour is taking them on a two-night extravaganza in Morrison, Colorado.
