Of The Trees is the stage name of the music producer and DJ Tyler Coombs. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, he started his music career in 2013 and released his debut album, "Threshold," the year after. Featuring 10 tracks showcasing his signature blend of bass, trap, and dubstep, the album featured notable tracks like "Black Rock City," "The Knowledge," and "The End," which introduced his name into the EDM music industry.
It didn't take long for the Denver-based DJ and visual artist to release his next albums. In 2016 he released "The Dream We Live In," a 12-track album exploring themes of self-discovery and transformation. He then released two albums the year after, "Stories Of A Wild Heart" in 2017 and "The Shaman" in 2018. In 2019 he released a 4-track EP named "Harbinger." He followed this with another EP, "The Sacred And The Profane," featuring four tracks that center on themes of duality and transformation. In all of these albums and EPs, Of The Trees gave emphasis on heavy bass drops and atmospheric soundscapes that set him apart from other EDM artists and DJs.
Over the years, the Denver-based artist has wowed fans and concert-goers, and party animals with his skilled blend of different genres of music, creating a dynamic and immersive sound that is distinctly his. He has performed at many shows and festivals in the country, including Shambhala, Bonnaroo, and Electric Forest.
