EVENT RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY 15TH AUGUST 2021. Originally Saturday 16th August 2020. All original tickets are still valid!
Slightly Stoopid will be at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Sunday 15th August 2021 for the second night of an exclusive weekend run that sees them presenting two very different shows of their sunny, uplifting reggae fusion! Sunday night will feature the chart-topping band performing their 2001 albums Live and Direct: Acoustic Roots in its entirety (featuring songs like "Couldn't Get High," "Wiseman," "Collie-Man," "Prophet," and more) and will take place at sunset, just to enhance the good vibrations! They'll be joined by special guest support acts Citizen Cope, Fortunate Youth and The Hip Abduction!
One of the US's most successful reggae bands, Slightly Stoopid bring their own flavor to the genre, incorporating elements of rock, blues, hip-hop, metal and funk into their sound. It was this innovative approach that caught the ear of Sublime's Bradley Nowell, who signed the group to his label Skunk Records not long after they formed in Ocen Beach, California in 1994. The now seven-piece was originally started by childhood friends Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald and their high school friend Adam Bausch. The group released its self-titled debut album in 1996 – the first of nine studio albums that the band has released over the years, in addition to our live albums/DVDs and one EP. Their most recent album, Everyday Life, Everday People (2018) hit the top spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart.
