Slightly Stoopid is an eclectic rock band known for experimenting with various genres, such as folk, rock, reggae, hip-hop, funk, and even metal. The band has released nine highly-acclaimed studio efforts, including the breakthrough album, Closer to the Sun. The 2005 effort entered the Billboard 200 and topped the Heatseekers Albums chart. The record spawned several singles, including “This Joint,” “See It No Other Way” featuring Barrington Levy,” “Don’t Care,” “This Joint,” and the title track. In 2012, the band dropped their highest-charting effort, Top of the World. The album soared to number 13 on the Billboard 200 and entered the top 10 on five other Billboard charts. The album spawned the title track and even appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the single.
