Californian band Slightly Stoopid have been entertaining audiences around the globe for nearly two decades with their varied and unique blend of folk, rock, reggae, blues, hip-hop, funk, metal and punk. A prolific touring act, they formed in 1994 and soon caught the attention of Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell, who signed them to Sublime's label Skunk Records. Launching themselves into the public domain with their punk-tinged debut album Slightly $toopid, the band quickly developed a following with their high energy, collaborative tours and diligent dedication to being on the road. The band followed with 1998's surf-inspired The Longest Barrel Ride, before starting their own label Stoopid Records, created not just for self-release, ensuring complete creative control for the band, but to support and “break” up-and-coming bands. 2014 saw the seven-piece touring extensively with features from G. Love and also Bob Marley's son, Steven Marley.
