Celebrating 25 years together, the incredible String Cheese Incident are headed to Red Rocks Amphitheater on Friday 19th July 2019 for a three night run that sees the veteran performers playing a no-holds-barred set of glorious String Cheesiness, as well as performances from a bunch of very special guests! For their first show, the band will be joined by The Greyboy Allstars who are also celebrating their 25th year!

Formed in the rocky mountains of Colorado in 1993, The String Cheese Incident is an American bluegrass jam band. The group, which consists of Michael Kang (acoustic/electric mandolin, electric guitar, and violin), Michael Travis (drums and percussion), Bill Nershi (acoustic guitar, lap steel guitar, and electric slide guitar), Kyle Hollingsworth (piano, organ, Rhodes, and accordion), Keith Moseley (bass guitar) and Jason Hann (auxiliary percussion), takes influence from a range of musical genres, including progressive rock, electronica, calypso, country, funk, jazz, Latin, reggae, and psychedelia. The group made its debut in 1996 with Born on the Wrong Planet, and they have since released ten studio albums on their independent label, SCI Fidelity, in addition to three live albums and eight live DVDs. The band is well known for its improvisation-led live shows, which incorporate spectacular visual and lighting effects, in addition to audience participation, earning them a large and loyal fan base that has grown throughout their career and a name amid the greats of the festival circuit.
