Suicideboys have taken over the Internet with their shock-rap music and dark-themed lyrics! The controversial hip-hop phenoms are fast-rising stars, thanks to their massive fanbase. Suicideboys are made up of Scrim and Ruby Da Cherry. Their brand of hip-hop explores controversial topics, with some critics calling it “suicide pimping.” Emerged in 2014, Suicideboys makes music how they want it, and with the help of SoundCloud, they gained a colossal cult following. Their Kill Yourself Saga EPs defined their early days from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, Suicideboys released their breakthrough EP, Radical Suicide. The EP peaked at number 17 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 5 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.

Two years after their breakthrough, Suicideboys dropped their debut album, I Want to Die In New Orleans, via their imprint, G*52 Records. The debut effort peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and charted in ten other countries, including the U.K. and Canada. Their follow-up album, Long Term Effects of Suffering, performed even better on the mainstream charts. The sophomore release peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200, number 2 on the Top Rap Albums, and number 1 on the Top Independent Albums charts. This summer, Suicideboys will release their third studio album, Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation. The forthcoming album was preceded by “Escape from Babylon” and “THE_EVIL_THAT_MEN_DO.”
