The resulting work is a larger-than-life rave that attracts metallers and EDM lovers in one venue. In an interview, King was asked about how he infuses these music styles together. The Los Angeles native explains eloquently, “It’s one of those things where when I started making this music, it was what I wanted to hear. I would go on Soundcloud and know I loved dubstep and thought it would be cool to see, instead of bands implementing electronic sounds, a DJ that adds the metal side of things with drum fills and crazy screaming vocals. It was then a lot of years of dialing it in until it made sense.”
For his epic rager at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, Sullivan King is anticipated to perform hits from his latest album, Thrones of Blood. The 2023 effort spawned several iconic tracks, such as “Let Me Go,” “Die By My Hand,” “Pursuit of Violence,” and more. In a statement, King shared that the album was developed from a vision to create the “perfect amalgamation of my favorite piece of music I’ve released thus far.” The world-renowned music producer also shared that he aimed for that avant-garde abstract style record - similar to his work with Loud.”
