It is hard when the bands we grew up listening to decide to part ways. There is that feeling that we also say farewell to a part of ourselves. After all, their music has been a part of our lives and helped us through all our good and bad moments. For die-hard fans of Sum 41, this is what it felt like when the Canadian punk rock band announced that they would be disbanding. The band has been active since the mid-90s and started to make waves in the music industry in the early 2000s. With hits like "Fat Lip," "In Too Deep," and "Motivation," the band solidified their name as tough players in the genre. Along with the likes of Avril Lavigne, Blink 182, and Simple Plan, the Deryck Whibley-led band shook the world with its youthful and angsty music and influenced the golden age of pop-punk music in the 2000s.

Over two decades later, Sum 41 has sold over 15 million records worldwide and has dominated the Billboard Charts multiple times. They grabbed a Grammy nomination for "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance" for their hit "Blood in My Eyes." In addition, they have won several awards and nominations from Juno, Kerrang!, and Alternative Press. Truly, they are one of the best bands out there. However, great things must end, and for Sum 41, 2025 is the year that their musical journey will end. Their upcoming album "Heaven :x: Hell," set to be released this March, is their final album before they say goodbye to all their fans.

Along with the announcement of their disbandment is a world tour that will take them to the US, Canada, Mexico, and to some parts of Asia and Europe. Dubbed "Tour of the Setting Sun," the band's final headlining tour will kick off in Jakarta, Indonesia, on March 1. The tour includes two U.S. legs, which will take them to some of the most prominent venues in the country, including The Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 11.

Joined by the LA-based ska punk band, The Interrupters, Sum 41 will bring their 27 years of music to the famous Colorado venue. This is going to be an emotional yet punk rock concert that will get you In Too Deep in nostalgia and fun! So if you are a big fan, missing this concert is a big crime. Tickets for the concert are now on sale. Secure one for you and your concert buddies now.
