The celebrated rock band known for its massive member line-up and even larger-than-life hits is set to showcase its outstanding staples, such as “Midnight in Harlem,” “Part of Me,” “Hear Me,” and many more. This highly versatile outfit is known for serving their out fantastic material, as well as numerous sensational covers! Led by husband and wife tandem Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, the band has prepared a fully packed line-up of hits! Being a purveyor of notable songs by other great artists, fans can also look forward to several hits from other great artists. During their spring outing, Tedeschi Trucks Band delivered staples from Bruce Springsteen, Grateful Dead, Eddie Kirkland, The Allman Brothers Band, and many more.
A product of two incredible bands merging into one, Tedeschi Trucks Band is a 12-member group led by Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi. The two groups began touring together in 2007. Three years later, they merged as one. Hence, the monster group was formed. Every year, the band travels across the nation and beyond, performing their blues rock staples and sensational covers. By 2012, the band won their first Grammy Award when their debut effort, Revelator, bagged the Best Blues Album Award.
This show is part of the band’s major outing, covering over 36 major cities with almost 50 performances! The show at the Red Rocks Amphitheater will also feature a performance by support act Margo Price. The singer-songwriter made her phenomenal breakthrough as an artist in 2017 after her hit song, “Hands of Time,” won the UK Americana Awards. Her debut album, Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, also won an American Music Prize the same year. The following year, the hit song “A Little Pain” won Song of the Year at the Americana Music & Honors Awards. That same year, she also received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
