One of the best-selling bands from the 2000s, Train, is hitting the road with Grammy-nominated artists Jewel and Blues Traveler, and they are coming to Red Rocks Amphitheater on Saturday 6th August 2022! The band, known for iconic hit singles, such as “Hey Soul Sister,” “Marry Me,” and “Calling All Angels,” is a multi-platinum group who has earned a platinum certification from Recording Artist Industry Association (RIAA) six times. Train is promoting the Am Gold 2022 Tour to support their album with the same name. The record will be released in May 2022. They are bringing along singer-songwriter Jewel, who sang “Foolish Games” and “You Were Meant For Me.” Known for their psychedelic rock coupled with insane light shows, Blues Traveler is the third act joining the tour. Together, these artists will light up the stage on August 6 at the Red Rocks!

Train has been in the music scene since 1993. The band’s self-titled debut album enjoyed moderate success with the single “Meet Virginia.” It wasn’t until the band released the sophomore album, Drops of Jupiter, that they gained a wide commercial success. The song “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” entered the Hot 100 Billboard chart in 2001. The song will later win them their first Grammy Awards for Best Rock Song and Best Arrangement. The record Drops of Jupiter became the band’s first platinum album, helping them peak to number 6 a the Billboard 200 chart.

After Drops of Jupiter, Train released two more albums, My Private Nation and For Me, It’s You, which also enjoyed substantial success, earning them two more RIAA certifications. In 2009, Train released Save Me, San Francisco, which contained the most successful song of their career, “Hey Soul Sister.” Throughout their streak, Train would continue to release hit after hit. The band had reportedly sold over 10 million records and 30 million tracks.

During the height of Train’s success, fans were still getting music fixation from MTV. While waiting for Train’s music video to come up, they may have come across music videos from fellow hitmaker Jewel. The singer-songwriter, actress, and author from Alaska have sold over 30 million albums. Her most successful album, Pieces of Me, was certified platinum 12 times. The hit song “Who Will Save Your Soul” reached number 11 on the Hot 100 Billboard chart, while “Foolish Games” and “You Were Meant for Me” peaked at number 2.

Psychedelic rock band Blues Traveler entered the mainstream music scene with their fourth album, Four. The single “Run Around” from the record won the band their first Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo/Group in 1996. One year later, the band released Straight On till Morning, which received platinum status and peaked at number 11 on the 200 Billboard chart.
