Trampled by Turtles

Kick off the countdown to July 11th. Trampled by Turtles is revving up a concert masterclass on a Thursday night LIVE at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with special guest Josiah & the Bonnevilles! Right after their firestarter show in Mexico’s Out of the Blue Festival, the rock and roll-inspired bluegrass band will hit the road for 14 performances to keep last year’s momentum going. Brace yourself for some smoke! Trampled by Turtles will hype you up with the feverish folk riffs that paved the path for their Billboard #1 Folk Album Wild Animals and US #1 Bluegrass records Alpenglow, Life Is Good on the Open Road, Stars and Satellites, and Palomino. A veteran touring act that has played in the likes of Bonnaroo and Coachella, our acclaimed string ensemble will rile the crowd up with show-stopping sets that cemented their star in the historic First Avenue club, often featuring hits “Alone,” “Codeine,” and “Wildflowers.” Get your tickets now and see Trampled by Turtles LIVE!

Go fast and get Trampled by Turtles this 2024 as the Billboard-breaking bluegrass folk band sets course for a national string of “can’t-miss” performances! Arranged between headlining and opening acts, the group will play 14 big-shot venues following their initial Out of the Blue Festival appearance in Mexico, making their way to Colorado on July 11th for a cacophonous concert comeback at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre!

“Even twenty years after their first shows, Trampled by Turtles can still bring speed, noise, and undeniable power. The precision with which the band played at lightning speed was incredible, but the fact that their frenetic energy was matched by those in attendance was just as impressive.”

Rock meets roots meets folk in this frenetic bluegrass show from the makers of Billboard #1 Bluegrass albums Palomino, Stars and Satellites, Life Is Good on the Open Road, Alpenglow, and #1 Folk Album Wild Animals. With Dave Simonett on guitar, Tim Saxhaug on bass, Dave Carroll on banjo, Erik Berry on mandolin, Ryan Young on fiddle, and Eamonn McLain on cello, Trampled by Turtles will treat you with the innovative string symphonies that caught them a star at Minneapolis’ First Avenue nightclub mural. Our headlining band has toured extensively throughout their career, firing up performances at the BIGGEST live music events from Stagecoach to Bonnaroo to Coachella, honing how to work the crowd with carefully handcrafted sets. And so, expect a stampede of some of their best tunes, which frequently features smoking hits such as “Wait So Long,” “Alone,” “Codeine,” and “Wildflowers.”

Indie folk act Josiah & the Bonnevilles, fronted by ex-American Idol contestant Josiah Leming, will prime you up before the main event with their Americana and roots-oriented anthems. The group has recently dropped their latest record, Endurance, so keep your ears sharp for possible tour debuts of singles like "Keeping Love Alive,” “Burn,” and “Basic Channels.”
