Led by Music Director Brett Mitchell, The Colorado Symphony, is known for its artistic excellence, innovative programming, and superb artistry, making it a key part of Denver's cultural scene. As the only full-time professional orchestra in the area, they perform over a hundred concerts every year across multiple venues in Denver.
Raised in South Carolina, American songwriter Trevor Hall's music combines roots and folk with electronic elements, reflecting a profound affinity for Eastern Mysticism. His debut independent album, The Fruitful Darkness, emerged as the top music campaign on Kickstarter in 2017. Released the following year, it quickly claimed the #4 spot on the iTunes Alternative Charts with the single, "Put Down What You Are Carrying," becoming one of the most-streamed songs in his genre.
In addition to undertaking several treks to India, he has previously achieved sold-out performances as the main act at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Moreover, he has successfully concluded a series of international tours with renowned artists including Michael Franti, John Butler Trio, Matisyahu, Ziggy Marley, Jimmy Cliff, and Brett Dennen.
“If you were asked to categorize Trevor's music into a specific genre, it wouldn't be an easy task. He has the ability to mix and match different types of styles so effortlessly. Not only does he do this from song to song, but he and his band are also able to do it within songs,” Up Venue shares.
Appearing alongside him for the live event is Valerie June, an American singer and multi-instrumentalist from Memphis, who has been praised by The New York Times as one of “America's most intriguing new talents.” One of her outstanding feats includes a nomination for "Call Me A Fool" at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
