Formed in 2005, Turnpike Troubadours are an American music group hailing from Oklahoma. In 2007, the band started their own imprint called Bossier City Records. They have released five studio albums since 2007, and their debut self-titled album peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200. Their most recent album, Long Way From Your Heart, came out in October 2017 and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Since 2019, the band went on a hiatus, and nobody knew when they returned. Fans had constantly been awaiting an announcement. Finally, they have announced that they will be performing at the Red Rocks Amphitheater on Saturday 14th May.
It seems that the brand is sort of resetting into a new phase. They removed all of their Instagram posts, and their website was refreshed as well. They just posted a simple “Coming Soon” note on 24th November 2021, which got their fans excited. Rolling stones then published a new interview with the band where it was revealed that they have upcoming additional tour dates and a new album in the works. This was undoubtedly a fantastic moment for their fanbase as their concerts were dearly missed since 2019. If you want to see the Turnpike Troubadours sharing the stage once again, make sure you buy your tickets right now before they are sold out!
