In 2017, the world was introduced with Tyler Childers’ breakthrough album, Purgatory. The sophomore effort broke into the top ten of Billboard’s Top Country Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Folk Albums charts. Meanwhile, the record also entered the Top 100 of the Billboard 200. Purgatory spawned several of Tyler Childers’ biggest hits, including “Lady May,” “Whitehouse Road,” and Universal Sound.” Moreover, the album received wide critical acclaim from critics and music journalists. Writers have included the album in several “best of” lists, including NPR Music’s Top 50 Albums, Noisey’s Top 100 Albums, and Rolling Stone’s Top 40 Best Country Americana Albums. Thanks to this exemplary album, Childers won Emerging Artist of the Year at the Americana Music Honors & Awards.

With the success of his sophomore album, Childers released a phenomenal followed-up album. In 2019, he dropped Country Squire. The album dominated the Top Country Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts. Meanwhile, the album also entered the international charts and topped the U.K. Country Albums. Country Squire features Childers’ first Grammy-nominated hit, “All Your’n,” and highly-acclaimed single,” House Fire.”

In 2022, Childers released his latest album, Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven? The album peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200 and became Childers’ highest-performing album on the chart.
