Young The Giant stormed onto the music scene in 2004 with their first three singles, ‘Cough Syrup’. ‘My Body’ and ‘Apartment’ all charting on the US Alternative Songs Chart. Last year they released their 5th studio album in November, a collection of four separate acts released throughout the year in a bread crumb trail to collect together to create ‘American Bollywood’. Their latest single release, ‘The Walk Home’, is a stark yet melodic and emotive song about the bittersweet truths of growth, showing the latest album’s marrying of Indian folklore and American storytelling, with vocalist Sameer Gadhia saying the album’s concept is, ‘old Hollywood meets old Bollywood.’ (Rolling Stone.) Following the release of ‘American Bollywood’ they are stoked to be on the road for the summer, sharing their latest material live. Joining them are Milky Chance, indie rock duo made up of Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch. Their first single, ‘Stolen Dance’ topped the charts in several countries in 2013, and on the recent release of their latest single, ‘Synchronize’, they encapsulate that feeling of perfect harmonization with another person.
