Dead Rocks is now on its ninth installment! This incredible EDM show featuring Zeds Dead is presented by the duo’s label, Deadbeats. In 2016, the Canadian electronic music duo formed their own label to release their highly-anticipated debut studio album. Northern Lights was Zeds Dead's first self-released record, and the album performed impressively on the charts. Northern Lights entered Billboard’s peak at 6 on the Dance chart and 5 on the Heatseekers chart. Meanwhile, the album entered the Canadian mainstream chart, peaking at number 30.
The debut album follows Zeds Dead’s independently released EPs, such as Rudeboy in 210, Adrenaline, Victor, and The Living Dead in 2012, Hot Sauce in 2013, and Somewhere Else in 2014. The duo frequently made appearances on the U.S. Dance charts. Their latest EP, Somewhere Else, became the highest chart effort to date, peaking at number 4. During the course of their EP releases, the duo formed the weekly rave party Bassmentality, which took place in Toronto. The event has a roster of local and international acts, including performers such as Skrillex, Nero, Bare Noize, Camo & Krooked, and Borgore.
