Ben Howard is an English singer-songwriter, originating from South Devon. Devon's laid back way of living has definitely had a positive influence on his music. He continues to write heartwarming, feel good songs that have topped the charts and have won him numerous Brit Awards and recognition by people all around the world.
Ben Howard signed to Island Records in 2011, with it's enormous history of UK folk singers, including Nick Drake and John Martyn, making it the perfect label for Ben's music. In the same year, he released his smash hit singles, "Old Pine" and "The Wolves" and his career exploded onto the mainstream. His 2011 track "Keep Your Head Up" has become a much loved song in the folk world, it brings back memories of summer festivals with your best friends. The song has been covered by many different artists since the release, including Sandra van Nieuwland in Holland and post hardcore band, Enter Shikari.
