If you do not already know, Veteran DJ and music producer Deadmau5 have organized the annual festival that runs from Halloween until the Day of the Dead. This year's edition has grown to a six-day spectacle spread across four key cities. The October/November showcases will close with a two-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The world-renowned DJ has yet to announce the supporting acts for these fantastic concerts, but with Day of the Deadmau5’s track record, the performers are anticipated to be incredible. If you’re a Deadmau5 fan, this will probably be one of the few times you’ll see him perform in the U.S. In addition to a few festival appearances this year, seeing Deadmau5 perform live is pretty much rare these days. Well, if you’re one of the highest-paid DJs in the world, you’ll also be doing one-offs in key cities. You see, famous DJs don’t tour like your regular bands who travel across America and do shows every two days. DJs like Deadmau5 go where they are in high demand, and yes, they make it worth your while.

Deadmau5 has more than earned his keep. The celebrated DJ has belted out quite a number of iconic hits, including “Move For Me,” “I Remember,” “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff,” “Animal Rights,” “Raise Your Weapon,” and many more. Specializing in progressive house, Deadmau5 has notably produced eight studio albums, eight Eps and released 53 singles, 36 of which had hit the U.S. charts, while three songs went to number 1 on Billboard’s Dance chart. His exemplary work has earned him numerous accolades, including six Grammy nominations, three Juno Awards, five Beatport Music Awards, Four DJ Awards, and three International Dance Music Awards. In addition to his awards, Beatport has also given him the “Greatest House DJ Ever award for two consecutive years.

Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman, jumpstarted his career in the late ‘90s. Before hitting it big, the DJ self-released a number of compilations, including A Little Oblique. By 2007, he founded his own record label, Mau5trap, and released his third album, Ministry of Sound. Since establishing Mau5trap, the independent label has grown its roster to over 100 music artists. Some of the label’s more renowned performers include Kill the Noise, BlackGummy, Tommy Lee, Attlas, Matt Lange, and many more.
