Greensky Bluegrass - 2 Day Pass at Red Rocks Amphitheater

Greenskly Bluegrass’s career is a remarkable story – a group of musicians joined forces for a local open mic night and evolved into one of the most sought-after jam bands in North America. The highly-experimental bluegrass band spent its early days performing in the local club in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They even recorded a live album from their home base called the Bell’s Brewery. After winning the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition, the band became THE band to watch out for. Winning the competition secured them a slot on the festival’s main stage the following year. But it's their relentless touring that earned them their stellar reputation. These prolific performers have also been known to collaborate with big names in the jam band scene. Renowned musicians like Phil Lesh and Bill Kreutzmann from Grateful Dead, Jon Fishman from Phish, Billy Strings, and Sam Bush have joined them on stage.

Apart from live performances, Greensky Bluegrass consistently releases critically-acclaimed efforts. Their latest effort, Stress Dreams, was released via the independent label Big Blue Zoo. The album was produced by Dominic Brown, also known as Jack White, and Grammy Award-winning engineer Glenn Brown during the pandemic.
