Okay, so, maybe not the OG Corral Reefer Band, but the real life chill out style and s**t tonnes of tallent, The Coral Reefer Band are, of course the legend, singer, songwriter and guitarist Jimmy Buffet, keyboardist Michael Utley, on da steely drums Robert Greenidge, guitarist and singer Peter Mayer, bass guitarist Jim Mayer, drummer Roger Guth, the other guitarist and singer Mac McAnally, da steel peddler Doyle Grisham, the tootin’ trumpeter John Lovell, de dark percussionist Eric Darken, the oh, so, lovely duo of loveliness, singers Tina Gullickson and Nadirah Shakoor and finally, in memory of percussionist Ralph MacDonald. Together they are the band that shaped the tunes, brought out the chill melodies and made the lifestyle into the real thing.

“The balding, soon-to-be-50 Buffett knows what his audience expects, and he delivers with more energy than would be expected as the four-month tour winds down. With a Floridascape as a backdrop, Buffett informed the crowd, "Our job is to prolong the summer as long as possible." The harmonies were hot, the steel drums festive, and the guitars, horns and rhythm section spirited. Mac McAnally, in particular, provided a pleasing vocal balance to the rowdy Buffett when he was given his turns in the spotlight, and the Coral Reefers' harmonies were sometimes downright beautiful.” – David Rush, Variety.
