Red Rocks favorites Lord Huron are back, and they're headed to Red Rocks Amphitheater on Wednesday 1st June 2022 (Rescheduled from Wednesday 2nd June 2021)! The indie-folk act will be performing tracks from their most recent album, Vide Noir, and they'll be joined by funk and soul duo Black Pumas in support!
“We’ve always put a lot of time and effort into our live show. From the beginning, that’s been something I didn’t want to skimp on,” says Schneider. “Because we’ve put so much time and effort into it, people are willing to watch us play live, and we’ve toured a lot. I still get goosebumps when I see that anyone in the audience knows any of the lyrics, it’s still a surreal experience for me.”
LA-based indie folk group Lord Huron was formed by Ben Schneider as a solo project in 2010, but came together over the next few years as a live act. In 2012, the group released its debut album, Lonesome Dreams, debuting at number five on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Their 2015 follow-up, Strange Tails, debuted at number 23 on the Billboard 200, number one on the Folk Albums chart, and number 10 on the Top Album Sales chart. Their third album, Vide Noir (2018), was even more successful and established the band as a mainstream presence, reaching number nine on the Billboard 200.
