LSDREAM is an EDM project by trap and electro-pop producer Brillz. In this project, his style has been described as robustly blended, which leans heavily on the hip-hop genre. The compositions commonly use bass timbres, otherworldly synths, and strong lyrics. With a long career in EDM, Brillz has mastered his trap and electro music style, and LSDREAM is a culmination of his years of hard work.
Sami Diament, popularly known by his stage name Brillz, has dabbled in many projects in his long career. His first project was Ultraviolet Sound, which he established in 2008. That same year, he produced beauty guru and queer icon Jeffree Star's breakout Extended Play entitled "Cupcakes Taste Like Violence." The EP reached the top ten on the US Billboard Top Heatseekers and the US Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums. His work with AJ McLean followed this. In 2011, Brillz, with his Ultraviolet Sound, remixed songs for the EP "Kill Kill Kill" by Kill the Noise. The following year, he joined forces with ETC!ETC! and Diplo for the EP "Bueller." After producing for other artists, he focused on his solo work in 2013. The result was his album "Twonk," released on Slow Roast Records. Before the year ended, the album's remix was entitled "Retwonked." For the next two years, he worked back for other artists and also focused on doing gigs. He was doing sets for festivals like Lollapalooza and Electric Zoo. In 2015, he remixed songs for pop star Katy Perry and Zedd. This was also the year when he was signed with Mad Descent. Months after, his EP "Geekin" came up, which featured rap legend Gangsta Boo.
When 2018 came, Brillz decided to work on a new project. LSDREAM was conceived. With striking visuals and perfected production, it became a festival favorite. LSDREAM sets have been experienced in major festivals like Electric Forest, Okeechobee, Coachella, and Lightning in a Bottle. Among its highlights was the 2022 sold-out "PEACE LOVE & WUBZ Tour."
