Aussie alternative dance trio Rufus Du Sol returns to Red Rocks Amphitheater this summer, bringing the good vibes, sunshine and epic tunes with them and spreading them far and wide! Coming to Red Rocks on Wednesday 11th August 2021 as part of their limited-run Americas tour, the bass-loving trio will be dropping no end of bangers from their ARIA-winning, Grammy Award-nominated album Solace! An utterly unique experience of blisteringly good live electronica, Rufus Du Sol shows always have a sizzling atmosphere and this will be no different, particularly with a support line-up that includes Lane 8, Icarus, Cubicolour, and Cassian!
Originally known under the name Rüfüs, Australian alternative dance band Rüfüs Du Sol was formed in Sydney, Australia in 2010 by Jon George, Tyrone Lindqvist and James Hunt. The band gained traction with the release of two EPs, RÜFÜS EP and RÜFÜS BLUE, in 2011 and 2012, respectively. However, it was their debut album, Atlas, that took their career to the next level, debuting in the top spot on the Australian Albums Chart. Bloom, their sophomore effort, also made its debut at number one on the Australian Albums Chart and Solace, their 2018 third studio album, peaked at number two, as well as reaching number six on the Billboard US Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart. The album was nominated for three ARIA awards at the 2019 ceremony – Album of the Year, Best Dance Release and Best Group – winning the award for Best Dance Release. It was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2020 Awards.
