The Disco Biscuits are an Electronic Jam band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, incorporating elements from a variety of musical genres, psychedelic rock, electronic music, soul, blues, jazz and classical music all with a base of electronic and rock, mixed in with some super light shows, lasers and smoke to create the ultimate trance fusion experience. Trance fusion, references the band incorporating elements of Trance music, repetitive drum beats and melodic sections, into the instrumentation and conventions of a live jam-band, where guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums play structured songs with sections for exploratory improvisation. The band consists of Allen Aucoin on drums, Marc "Brownie" Brownstein on bass guitar and vocals, Jon "The Barber" Gutwillig on guitar and vocals, and Aron Magner on about six keyboards, synths and vocals. The band always enjoys teasing songs during their jams which keeps those who are knowledgeable of their extensive song repertoire guessing what will come next, so do your homework people!
