Red Rocks Amphitheater Rules
Red Rocks Amphitheater and Red Rocks Park wants everyone to have a safe, fun, and unforgettable time at the show. But to keep it enjoyable for everyone, there are certain rules and policies in place. Guests can take their own alcoholic drinks to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for use in the parking lots before shows. However, this should not be excessive or impact other guests’ safety and enjoyment. Management and security teams will maintain a pleasant atmosphere, including overseeing alcohol use. Guests may not take alcoholic drinks into the venue but may purchase them from vendors once inside.

There are smoking sections designated throughout the venue that may be used. However, please remember that smoking marijuana is prohibited in all places at Red Rocks. Please contact staff on-site if you need help finding one of these sections.
Tailgating Policy
One of Red Rocks’ most popular aspects is its “pre-game” atmosphere. Guests often arrive in parking lots early to take part in unofficial tailgating. While the venue generally allows this, it should not impact other guests or the natural surroundings. For this reason, things like large open-flame barbecues are not allowed.
Tailgating must be confined to the rear of your vehicle and not interfere with the parking of other vehicles. Tents and canopies are not permitted. Due to the risk of fire, open flame fires and charcoal grills are prohibited. Small gas-controlled grills are allowed unless there are temporary fire bans in effect.
Open alcohol is prohibited in the park, and it may be confiscated. Violators are subject to ejection and possible citation.
Please check with your individual show for tailgating policies and environmental warnings.
