We recommend GPS directions as they will tell you about any delays or closures on the road so you can avoid missing any of the fun. Also, we recommend that you plan to arrive at least an hour before the show when the gates open. This gives you the best chance, to park, avoid long lines and find your seat
There is plenty of general parking available for shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Parking is included in the price of your concert ticket.
Lots open around two hours before the venue’s doors. If you’re looking to secure a good space, avoid traffic, or participate in the pre-event festivities, you should arrive with plenty of time to spare.
Red Rocks Parking Lots
There are five parking lot options at Red Rocks Amphitheatre:
- Upper North lot
- Upper South lot
- Lower North lot
- Lower South lot 1
- Lower South lot 2
The upper lots are closest to the amphitheater, so the walking time needed is minimized. For this reason, they’re extremely popular and fill up fast. The Lower lots still provide plenty of spaces close to the venue but require more uphill walking to reach it. Please wear comfortable shoes if you’ll be walking for a while.
Once you arrive at the venue, follow signs and staff instructions to get to your lot. Rideshares and carpooling are recommended to minimize traffic and wait times after the show, dropping guests at the Trading Post or the Upper North or South lots.

Red Rocks Parking Lot Times: Red Rocks parking lots open 2 hours prior to door times. Check your ticket for door and show times. You’ll usually have time between door time and show time, so you can squeeze in more than a few hours of Red Rocks.
Leaving your car at Red Rocks: Vehicles may be parked until 10 AM the day following a Red Rocks show. This means you can safely leave your car at Red Rocks if you’ve had too much to drink, and you definitely should if that happens! Explore other Red Rocks Transportation options.
Drop Off
According to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Vehicles used for patron pickup should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the end of the show. A phone recording with the approximate event end time is updated daily at 720-865-2494. You may also speak with Traffic Control on-site to find out the best time to return for patron pickup.
Patrons who are dropped off prior to an event will need to walk to their respective rides for pickup at the end of the night.
