Following their insanely popular pandemic era global smash "Heat Waves," the band recently dropped the first single from the upcoming LP, "Creatures in Heaven," along with the cheeky statement, “we can’t wait to play u the new music…i think this album will be exceptionally fun live.”

The huge international tour, fittingly titled, Glass Animals: Tour of Earth, will span the United States, Canada, France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. And Glass Animals are not going it alone, They bring along a few different special guests to perform at different venues throughout the tour, including Kevin Abstract, Eyedress, Blondshell, and The Big Moon.

The tour supports the band's forthcoming, fourth studio album, I Love You So F***ing Much, which is set to land on July 19th, and features the newly released single “Creatures in Heaven,” which you can check out down below. This will be the indie rockers first new music in four years, yes it's been that long since that dumpster fire of a year, which spawned their massive hit single, “Heat Waves,” from the album, Dreamland.

Oddly enough, "Heat Waves," served as inspiration for the new album. “Life can change dramatically, but sometimes you aren’t able to change as quickly on a personal level. You end up feeling like a spectator,” lead singer Dave Bayley shared. “And then you are asked and expected to be a certain type of person, a different person. But… I wasn’t sure how. It confused me to the point of not knowing who I was or if anything was real.” Eventually, accepting the simple truth: “Human connection and the love between us is much bigger, more important, and more complex than anything else.”

"Heat Waves", went viral on TikTok upon its release in mid-2020, by the beginning of 2021 it hit number 1 in Australia, and voted number 1 on the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2020. Fast-forward to late 2022, and it had surpassed two billion streams on Spotify, and finally reached number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 5 on the UK Singles Chart over two years after its release. The song got the band nominated for Best British Alternative/Rock Act and "Heat Waves" for Best British Single, at the Brit Awards, and earned them their very first Grammy Award nomination in the Best New Artist category.
