Old Dominion is a five-member country music act from Nashville, Tennessee. The band, composed of Matthew Ramsey, Whit Sellers, Geoff Spring, Trevor Rosen, and Brad Tursi, emerged in 2015 and made their breakthrough with their debut album, Meat and Candy. The album performed impressively on the charts, peaking at number 16 on the Billboard 200 and number 3 on the Top Country Albums chart. The single, “Break Up with Him,” topped the Country Music Airplay and earned a platinum certification in the U.S. Old Dominion’s incredible debut earned them New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards and Breakthrough Group / Duo of the Year at the American Country Countdown Awards. Meat and Candy later earned platinum status after selling more than one million copies in the U.S.
After their stellar debut, Old Dominion dropped two number 1 albums, Happy Endings in 2017 and a self-titled third album in 2019. The band’s singles from Happy Endings consistently topped the Country Airplay chart and earned three platinum certifications, one for each single. The third eponymous album notably entered the Scottish chart, spawning two hit songs, “Make It Sweet” and “One Man Band.” In 2021, Old Dominion dropped their latest album, Time, Tequila, & Therapy, featuring the massive hit single, “I Was On A Boat That Day.”
