Fastest-rising rapper star Yeat, whose real name is Noah Oliver Smith, rose to prominence as a member of the underground rap collective Slayworld. He became well-known after posting videos of himself performing on the video-sharing platform TikTok. Due to some of the videos going viral, he now has a massively growing social media following. His breakthrough came after the TikTok videos of his songs "Gët Busy" and "Sorry Bout That" became famous.
Having established himself as one of today's most prominent breakout musicians, Yeat has built an impressive reputation in recent years. Yeat is setting himself up to become a music superstar with a sound that is distinct from a post-Whole Lotta Red sound and has the charm to burn. His sophomore album, "2 Alivë," came out in March 2022. It serves as the sequel of his 2021 mixtape "Alivë." Released under a major label, the album sold a million album-equivalent units in the first week, debuting at number 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The 20-track record has gained critical success, with some critics calling it "a master class in precision."
