As one of the most popular names on the jam band scene, String Cheese Incident have become pretty legendary so it's no wonder that these guys sell out their shows where-ever they go!
Known best for their impeccable musicianship and flawless performances, full of groundbreaking on the spot improvisation, to truly blow the crowd away. Members; Michael Kang (acoustic/electric mandolin, electric guitar, and violin), Michael Travis (drums and percussion), Bill Nershi (acoustic guitar, lap steel guitar, and electric slide guitar), Kyle Hollingsworth (piano, organ, Rhodes, and accordion), and Keith Moseley (bass guitar), and their most recent member, Jason Hann (auxiliary percussion) all share their incredible skills and their varied instrumentation throughout the group gives them a positive, uplifting edge to the live music scene.
This talented band formed all the way back in 1993 in Creted Butte and Telluride, Colorado and have made their way up the scale ever since to becoming one of the biggest bands on the "jam" band scene, although they are categorised within this particular genre, their sound provides many layers to their music, fusing many genre's together. String Cheese Incident blend elements of bluegrass sounds, as well as rock, electronica, calypso, country, funk, jazz, Latin, progressive rock, reggae, and hints of psychedelia.
With their wide range of material, String Cheese Incident have grabbed the spotlight with their incredible releases throughout the years.
